Can you picture the furniture in your kitchen towering over you? In case you can’t Robert Therrien designed overgrown household items that were inspired by fairytales. The line, “Larger Than Life” features giant forms of tables,c hairs, and dishes. Although unusual and impractical the collection is cool to look at at. Who knew that as a fully grown adult you wouldn’t be able to reach the top of the table. What do you think of the “Larger Than Life” furniture? Can you picture it in a park as artwork?giant furnituregiant furnituregiant furnituregiant furnitureImages from freshome

Hide Your TV

Posted on August 20, 2010 · 2 Comments

The TV is a major part of our society. People tune in to relax, find out what’s going on in the world and for entertainment. You may love having your 82″ flatpanel TV front and center in your livingroom, which is understandable, but some people want their interior design to  hold all the attention. If you are one of the many people who enjoys TV, but doesn’t like the way it flows with your interiors then hide it. How about with a large piece of art? We found this image of a concealed TV on Apartment Therapy and thought it was a pretty good idea. With the help of the Art Lift by Media Decor the painting raises and lowers with the push of a button hiding the TV. Would you prefer to hide your TV if you could do so in a stylish manner?
